TradeWinds Introduces Industry's First Electric Yacht Ownership Program Dedicated to Sustainable Sailing

TradeWinds TW6e electric yachts will be built on demand for buyers

British Virgin Islands (September 2024) – TradeWinds—the values-driven global company offering eco-friendly, luxury catamaran sailing vacations—has launched a new, all-electric yacht ownership program. TradeWinds' TW6e yachts will be built-on-demand and delivered by Fountaine Pajot. Modeled after the renowned French shipbuilders' innovative Samana 59 Smart Electric Yachts, the TW6e models feature extensive solar panels among other systems to generate clean energy for low-emission sailing.

The launch of this program underscores TradeWinds commitment to revolutionizing the yacht industry through their focus on environmental conservation. In January, the company announced the launch of AURORA, the first smart electric propulsion yacht to join the fleet. The company's second and third electric yachts, Twenty5 and Ohana, debuted this summer and Hadali will arrive in early 2025. New yachts will be added each year toward the goal of having a sustainable fleet by 2036.

TradeWind electric yacht ownership program comes with a long list of benefits.
