Lausanne's Beau-Rivage Palace Launches “La Plage” Beach Club

New York - June 15, 2023: This month, Lausanne's legendary Hotel Beau-Rivage Palace is unveiling LA PLAGE (The Beach), inviting hotel guests to sunbathe, wiggle their toes in the sand, and experience the delights of an exclusive version of ”Switzerland-On-The-Sea.”

During the roaring twenties of the last century, guests at the Beau-Rivage Palace Hotel would splash, swim, cavort, and dance the Charleston as the sun set on the shores of Lake Geneva in front of the hotel. LA PLAGE is the Beau-Rivage Palace's upgraded 21st-century version.

The surroundings of the hotel's outdoor pool have been enlarged and upgraded, adding great swaths of fine sand to create the “beach” experience. In addition, there are elegant deckchairs, small beach cabins evocative of the 1920's, plus a cocktail bar and an ice cream bar. The double sunbeds of luxurious cabanas complete the scene at the Beau-Rivage Palace's reborn LA PLAGE.

One the multiple attractions of what many consider Switzerland's finest hotel has long been the Beau-Rivage Palace's private 10-acre park that borders Lake Geneva. Massive flower beds provide color, and majestic pine trees provide shade. And now, the new LA PLAGE is an additional attraction. Entry to LA PLAGE is available without charge or resort-fee to all hotel guests.
