New York – June 28, 2024: Sheen Falls Lodge, the five-star property in Ireland's County Kerry, has introduced new offerings for the whole family just in time for summer and in celebration of the hotel's 30th anniversary as a member of Relais & Chateaux.

To commemorate this anniversary, Sheen Falls Lodge has curated a list of the “Top 30 Things to Do in Kenmare,” including a night-time kayaking tour, a horse-drawn carriage ride through the countryside, a chocolate-making class at Lorge Chocolatier, a visit to the Ring of Kerry, hiking around the Beara Peninsula and sampling local ice cream at Kenmare Ice Cream.

Summertime activities on the 300-acre estate include falconry, horseback riding, fishing, archery, clay pigeon shooting and golfing. New as of this summer is an axe-throwing offering for guests as well. Golf enthusiasts can play a round at the Ring of Kerry Golf Club, known for its challenging course and spectacular views. Guests can book Sheen Falls Lodge's Tee Time Package, including a two-night stay, a round of golf, transfers to and from the golf course, full Irish breakfast and dinner in the Stables Brasserie.

Also new for the summer is a brand-new Afternoon Tea menu, including a three-tiered serving of sandwiches made with locally sourced ingredients – such as smoked salmon with red onion, capers and horseradish on homemade Guinness brown bread – freshly baked scones and homemade pastries. Sheen Falls Lodge has also introduced a new Junior Afternoon Tea Menu for families, featuring traditional sandwiches like smoked Gubbeen cheese, as well as a Nutella & banana sandwich, fresh scones and brownies, and a strawberry milkshake – all for €25 per person.

Sheen Falls Lodge is currently offering an exclusive package for the summer, which includes three nights in a luxurious room overlooking the water, full Irish breakfast each morning, dinner for two at both The Falls Restaurant (which just earned Wine Spectator's 2024 Best of Award of Excellence) and The Stables Brasserie, as well as access to the Easanna Wellness & Spa indoor pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna throughout the stay. Rates start from €1,650 for two people in a Classic Room.
