DAY 1: SLOW DOWN TO SONOMA TIME

- Explore the tasting rooms around the with a Sonoma Plaza Wine Pass and visit our family-owned wine- and cider-tasting rooms. Walk-ins are welcome in some places, but we recommend making reservations in advance.
- Head back to the plaza for an unforgettable, intimate, Portuguese-style dinner at LaSalette Restaurant, featuring the swoon-worthy cuisine of Chef Manuel Azevedo.
- End the evening with a night cap at The Beacon, whose inspired cocktails and mocktails put a new spin on old favorites while also offering exciting original recipes to choose from; or head over to the Swiss Hotel for their famous Glarifee, their signature drink and a local favorite
DAY 2: TASTE YOUR WAY THROUGH SONOMA VALLEY

- Drive into the foothills of Sonoma Mountain to Jack London State Historic Park for a hike up into a regal redwood forest or a wander through the late author's property and see his writing cottage, farm, and his wife's home, The House of Happy Walls.
- Drive north up Highway 12 to Kenwood's renown castle, Ledson Winery & Vineyards, for a private wine and food tasting experience—reservations required—or a picnic tasting on their grounds with sandwiches from their very own marketplace.
- Return to Glen Ellen and catch a private winemaker tasting at Schermeister Winery to taste their mouthwatering, natural and sustainably-made wines.
- Return to your hotel, inn or vacation rental for a refreshing power nap.
- Head to Glen Ellen's Salt & Stone for surf and turf fare around their bucolic fountain.
DAY 3: HEALTHY & HOMEMADE SONOMA VALLEY
- Start the day with a healthy breakfast at Sunflower Caffé, whose array of choices made from locally sourced ingredients taste as decadent as they are good for the body.
- From Sunflower, walk up 1st Street West and arrive at the trailhead for the Sonoma Overlook Trail. Follow the trail up Schocken Hill and catch Instagram-worthy views of Sonoma Valley below. Return back on the same trail through the oak forest and down through Sonoma's historic cemetery—a moderate three-mile hike.
