Getting to Sun Valley, Idaho is easier than ever with new nonstop flights this winter to Phoenix, Chicago and San Diego!

Friedman Memorial Airport (SUN), which serves the Sun Valley resort area in Idaho, now offers flights to 8 cities; year round nonstop service to Denver, Salt Lake City and Seattle, plus daily winter and summer nonstop flights to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Phoenix and San Diego.

United Airlines offers nonstop flights from four major hub cities:

• Denver (DEN) daily year-round, increasing to two daily during the summer, fall and winter seasons
• Los Angeles (LAX) and San Francisco (SFO) daily nonstop flights during summer and winter, and twice weekly in September and October
• Chicago (ORD) daily nonstop flights in winter and 2-3 times weekly in summer through September

Alaska Airlines operates its nonstop Seattle (SEA) service to SUN on a year-round basis, with 1-2 flights daily during the summer and winter seasons, and twice weekly flights on Thursday and Sunday during spring and fall.  Its new San Deigo (SAN) flights will run 3x weekly during the 2025/26 winter season.

Delta Air Lines offers 2-3 daily nonstop flight from Salt Lake City (SLC) throughout the year, plus daily SEA flights and weekly LAX flights in winter.
